Abstract

As the global automotive industry shifts its focus to sustainability and environmental awareness, electric vehicles (EVs) are starting to be considered as a potential replacement for traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles. India, one of the world's largest car markets, will have a significant influence on how EV adoption evolves in the future. This study will investigate and analyse how Indian consumers see electric vehicles in order to comprehend the factors influencing their attitudes and intents. Electric vehicles (EVs) and electric mobility are the wave of the future of transportation. Electric vehicles will cause significant changes in the automobile sector. This study aims to gain a better understanding of how consumers perceive, comprehend, and intend to purchase electric vehicles. This paper clarifies the factors that affect consumer’s perception of an Electric vehicle and whether those factors have a relationship with the perception towards the electric vehicle.
