CHANGING CONTOURS OF COPYRIGHT LAW WITH THE EMERGING USE OF AI CHAT BOTS: A CRITICAL ANALYSIS
Abstract
For customer service and information retrieval, AI chatbots are becoming more and more common in a variety of businesses. Their dependence on pre-existing conversations and written content, however, raises questions about possible copyright violations. This study investigates whether AI chatbot responses are original and how reasonable use is applied to identify copyright infringement.
It also considers the legal and liability issues around copyright and AI chatbots. Future suggestions, ethical implications, and methods for reducing copyright infringement concerns are considered. This research offers useful insights for anyone engaged in the creation and use of AI chatbot systems by critically analyzing these factors, promoting ethical behavior while upholding copyright protection.
